Who am I?
I originally trained as an actor but then spent the first 10 years of my career running a promotions agency in the videogame and film industries. I then spent the next 15 years as a jobbing actor working in TV, film, corporate and presenting. I spent the last 4 years of this time as the voice of a new shopping channel, voicing hundreds of infomercials. During this time, as a side hustle, I ran Showreelz, filming, recording and editing video and audio reels. I then formed Blackwatch Entertainment, a murder mystery and immersive theatre company and ran this for 8 years until I sold it in 2018.
After a year as a Program Director for Viking River Cruises in 2019, I came back to voiceover at the end of that year. When Covid hit in 2020, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 melanoma and had to have a year of monthly immunotherapy infusions at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
Just getting there during lockdown was traumatic! It was during this time that I launched The Wonderland Challenge and Wonderland VO was born. I got through that traumatic year but was then diagnosed with prostate cancer. I had an operation to get rid of that and then the Melanoma returned with a vengeance. So I had an operation to remove some lymph nodes from my armpit, the same op as people with breast cancer have. I've now been clear for 16 months.
These experiences have led to my empathetic approach to mentoring, where I focus on supporting voiceover artists who feel stuck, disheartened by rejection, or in need of a career boost. As the founder of WonderlandVO.com and BradShawVoice.com, I’ve built a career grounded in creativity, resilience, and a deep understanding of the unique hurdles voiceover artists and performers face. My mentoring sessions provide a safe, supportive space to reignite your passion, rediscover your drive, and help you navigate the emotional side of this journey.Whether you’re handling rejection or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to help. Each session focuses on supporting your mental health, handling rejection, and boosting your drive. To be fair, we can talk about whatever is on your mind. These are not technical coaching sessions but rather a safe space to discuss your challenges and find clarity.

3. How does the free introductory chat work?
This is a 15-minute one-off session where we’ll discuss your goals, challenges, and how mentoring can help. It’s a great way to see if we’re a good fit to work together.

4. How are sessions conducted?
All sessions are one-on-one via Zoom, so you can join from anywhere in the world. A stable internet connection and a quiet space are all you need.

5. What are the prices for mentoring?
​See above. Payment is made at the time of booking.
6. Can I book multiple sessions at once?
Yes! You can choose one of the packages to book three sessions on different days at a discounted rate.

7. What if I need to reschedule a session?
If you need to reschedule, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid losing your session. I’ll do my best to accommodate changes.​

8. Will I receive technical coaching during these sessions?
No, these mentoring sessions are not focused on performance techniques, demo production, or marketing. Instead, they are about mental health support, handling rejection, and reigniting your motivation.
